A software house for Jeddah businesses, with an office in-country

TintSol works with companies in Jeddah remotely, supported by our office in Riyadh and our engineering headquarters in Lahore. We build web platforms, mobile apps and custom systems in Arabic and English. We don't have a Jeddah office, so meetings happen by video, or at our Riyadh office when an in-person session helps.

We work with clients here remotely.

Working hours · Arabia Standard Time (AST, UTC+3)

Jeddah shares Riyadh's clock, UTC+3 with no daylight saving, so it sits two hours behind Lahore all year. A 9:00 stand-up in Jeddah is 11:00 in Pakistan, and the shared window covers most of the day from Monday to Thursday. Sunday, a working day in Jeddah, is planned per project.

Jeddah: trade, pilgrims and retail

Jeddah is the Kingdom's commercial gateway on the Red Sea. Its port handles a large share of Saudi imports, many family-owned trading groups are headquartered there, and it is the arrival point for millions of pilgrims travelling to Makkah. That mix brings its own software problems, from shipment and warehouse tracking to booking and hospitality systems that must cope with sharp seasonal peaks.

Many Jeddah businesses grew on relationships, phone calls and spreadsheets, and are now turning those into customer apps and internal systems without losing what made them work. The software has to read naturally in Arabic, accept local card payments, and be simple enough for staff who have never used a dashboard.

We don't have a Jeddah office and won't pretend to. What we do have is an office in Riyadh, in the same time zone and regulatory environment, and a delivery team in Lahore that has shipped bilingual Gulf products such as Makhdoom.

How we work

How an engagement runs from here.

  1. 01

Remote by default, Riyadh when it helps

Day-to-day work runs over video calls and a shared project board. When a workshop needs a room, our Riyadh office is in the same country and time zone.

  2. 02

    Planned around the season

For businesses whose traffic follows Ramadan, Hajj and Umrah, we schedule load tests and release freezes around those dates, not the other way round.

  3. 03

    Scoped before it's quoted

Each engagement is scoped from your brief and quoted as a fixed-milestone project or an ongoing retainer. We don't work from a rate card.

FAQ

Questions we hear here.

  • Does TintSol have an office in Jeddah?

No. We work with Jeddah clients remotely, and our nearest office is in Riyadh, on King Fahd Road in Al Olaya. Engineering is done from our headquarters in Lahore, Pakistan.

  • What should I look for in a software company in Jeddah?

Look for proof that they can ship a bilingual product with local payments, and a clear answer on who supports it after launch. Ask whether they have handled seasonal traffic peaks, how they test Arabic screens, and whether you will deal with the same people from the brief to go-live.

  • Can you handle traffic spikes during Hajj and Umrah seasons?

Yes, if we plan for them early. We load-test against expected peak traffic before the season, set up automatic scaling where the hosting allows it, and agree a release freeze around the busiest weeks so nothing new ships while the system is under the most strain.

  • Do you build e-commerce and delivery apps for Jeddah retailers?

Yes. Storefronts, ordering apps and delivery tracking are part of our web and mobile work, and our Makhdoom project combined bookings, card payments with bank verification and live dispatch tracking for a Gulf marketplace.

  • How quickly can a Jeddah project start?

Usually within 5–7 business days of the initial brief. Send it to hello@tintsolltd.com and you'll get a first reply within one business day, followed by a scope for either a fixed-milestone project or a retainer.
